So there I was “roogeling” a very important question today here on the Registered Rep forumns, just like I always do, and it came back with the dreaded “no results found”.

Now, being that I have absolutely nothing to do today, I then typed the same keywords (“stretch ira rmd waiver”) into Google and the SECOND (yes, Second!!) thing that came up was a thread on the Registered Rep forumn. Try it yourself and see.

So I ask you people, how am I supposed to Roogle my way to being a million dollar producer?

ROOGLE feeds GOOGLE. Hey. Sometimes ROOGLE works, sometimes not so much. I believe it is GOOGLE screwing with the future.

Somebody ask permabear if he knows what’s going on. He’s an IT expert.

Oh, wait.

It’s the search function for this forum.

In Winston’s defense, it does suck.

The issue, Winston, is the thread that comes up under google is actually over 6 months old. The forum search defaults to posts that are 6 months or newer. You can use the advanced search button and select any date or newer, and you would find your thread.
