Wondering what the pros and cons are with both. Wonder why RJA cant seem to gain any market share traction? ARS settlement or lack thereof?

RJA: -  40-45% payout -  Bonus eligibility -  Insurance -  SA paid for -  Typically more FA's (traditional "brokerage firm" feeling) -  Nice office space -  FA's don't have to worry about tedious day-to-day tasks necessary to keep the office up and running -  YOU own your book of business (both RJA and RJFS)   RJFS: -  Much higher payout (90%) -  Essentially own/run your own business         -  On your own for:              - Office Space/supplies/equiptment, etc.               - Insurance              - SA              - Charged for each trade (can be a negative if you manage a lot of discretionary accounts/do a lot of trading)     These are just a few of the basic differences.  I'm sure there are more, just can't think of them right now.   Regards, SJ
