I recently joined an RIA platform thats not all that it was promised. I'm thinking about moving to a different platform because I don't really have enough AUM to survive on my own.
I've looked at quite a few.
Planning platforms at Prudential, and Ameriprise.
Bank programs at Chase, Citi, Wells and Union.
Some credit unions
Wirehouse at Merril and Morgan
And independent through LPL.
I'm trying to find a home with a comfortable enviroment to aquire and service clients that has a good model for client aquasition.
Does anyone have any input on what firms I should be looking into the most deeply, which ones I should avoid, and who I might be missing?
