I have a buddy that works at Wachovia as a Licensed Financial Specialist and is somewhat concerned whether that will be one of the positions that gets reduced once the moved with Wells Fargo takes place.  Does anyone have any inside knowledge or insight as to what will happen with these guys?

seems like they might be safe. wells branch people aren’t licensed.

They’ll be fine job-wise.  But, they are already getting their ways of being compensated cut.  My understanding is that they will become like a hybrid of a FS and a branch manager in the next few quarters.
