I'm sure some of you may have already seen this, but thought I'd throw it out there. I think this is a photo of the GP in charge of technology at Jones.

(hope some of the Jones fans don't mind a chuckle as well, not meaning any disrespect )

I wasn’t sure about the steering wheel, but I think I figured it out.  It is so each IR can manually re-point their dish in the case of another outage.  Glad to see the IR’s are finally getting those wireless keyboards.

CLASSIC…

Actually, until I leave, it’s not very funny.  How suspicious does
it sound when I tell a client I’m not allowed to use e-mail?  One
client actually said "that way they don’t have proof of anything,
right?"

This has been my biggest frustration.  At risk of ID, my office is
in CA.  How can I NOT have e-mail and compete?  And don’t get
me started on the PORTFOLIO SYSTEM!  I bet you formers don’t miss
that system!!!

Ready...this will shock you, but we DO miss pa system. Our clients are not real "sophisticated" and just like to see + / -.  The LPL system we have is a little too many charts, graphs for them, etc.

exdrone... And you see the tv in the corner there is for up-to-the-minute quotes...straight from the exchange floor.

IF you use PRT you can take out many of the sections that you don't need.  Call the tech desk and they'll help you.

Hey thanks I owe you a beer! I had asked once before if anyone knew of a way to condense…or unclog, but noone answered. I’ll check that out now!

Great Picture.

Hey, isn't that Jack Phelan in the picture?

Maybe EDJ should make this the next Top Gun Award...

I immediately recognized the objects in the picture.

You are seeing the control panels for a reactor from a nuclear submarine.  The left panel with the "wheels" are the throttles that control steam flow to the engines (turbines) and the center panel is used to control things like main coolant pumps to the reactor.  The panel on the right controls the electrical plant.

More detail than anyone wanted, but I spent countless hours in front of very similar panels as an Engineering Officer of the Watch and it brought back memories.
