I was wondering if Jones regional leaders have compensation tied directly to the profitability of the reps under them.

Also, do Jones RL's have say in whether or not a rep under them canned be termed?

Thanks.

P.S. I have been trying to reply, but the forum says I don't have the privilege. I can post, but not reply to my own post. Anyway, thanks for the comments.

Why? just curious about a potential breach of ethics.

Why?

Their only pay for their RL position comes through either LP or GP.  They do get graded on the performance of their region's FAs but it's not a direct payout or bonus.

They don't have a lot of say in the termination of an FA.  It's not like you can piss off your RL on Friday and come into the office on Monday and they've locked you out.  If you get to the position where your RL becomes involved in your employment, it's because you're below the production goals the firm has set.  The home office GP who is called an Area Leader would be in contact with your RL asking for input on whether or not he thinks you have the ability to pull yourself out of the tailspin or if they should end your career short and sweet.  A lot of that will be based on what kind of help you've asked for and if you've made any attempt to let the RL, or the people he assigns to you, help you.

But, at the end of the day, he doesn't really have the power to make that decision on his own.

Odd, maybe because the post was moved, once I edited the original post I can now comment. Anyway, thanks again for the comments.
