Does anyone know of an independent B/D that offers a fee based account which allows clients to trade through their advisor OR online by themselves?  I have heard that Morgan Stanley's choice platform offers this but have yet to see it anywhere else?

Thanks,

Dr J.

UBS used to offer that.  In my experience nobody used the online trading capability, though.

H&R Block Financial Advisors has the “Wealth Management

Account”. It is a fee based account and allows the client to

place trades online or through their broker. The broker gets

paid the same either way.
