Our old office was in between Subway AND Today Cleaners. Kind of nice difference being in professional surroundings. Don't have all the walk-by belly scratchers that want to know ..."How much munny can ah make if'n I invest $200?"

Jones is like a cow with 10,000 teets that are milked 400 at a time by 200 or so GP's.  The double fisted milkers(GP's) let some others partake in the milk (LP's)  The 5000 or so LP's get less than the GP's because they must suckle up to the cow to get their milk(suckers that volunteer and "give back")

Merrill is a bull.  With a you know what and a pair of you knows.  Stan gets to milk that one by himself.

Now Stan of course gets proportionately less “milk” from his critter, but remember his critter is much larger than Jones’ so he still comes out ahead.  All this milking keeps the bull happy and growing for the benefit of the shareholders who are ultimately in the beef business, not the milk business.
I am a Midwesterner, so I have certainly seen my fair share of farms.  Don’t live on one, but see herds of cattle and corn all the time when I commute from my town to the big city!  Yee-haw!!!
I’m glad I was able to throw that number out for you.  It’s mind-boggling how large it really is when it comes down to it.

skol,

its pretty simple.  if you're a broker you are going to get milked.  you can choose the jones way or the merrill way.  if neither of those is appealing you can go intedpendent and milk yourself.

If you are with EDjones, you are not getting milked.  We are some of the highest paid investment counselors on East Main Street(next to the Chinese restaurant.) In many ways, we are all GP’s.

Incredble Imposter (or Impostor) has a fixation with chinese food. What's THAT all about?

Rice is cheaper than a large pepperoni pizza and it feeds a family of four also!

God has the cattle on a thousand hills, but ed jones has 9000 ir’s with 18000 nipples.  All chafed from excessive milking by greedy two fisted GP milkmaids.

If you are at Edward Jones just keep bending over You must really like it...................GP's to IR's keep bending over eventually you drink enough Kool Aid, that you don't even realize you are taking it in the 277 and liking it

Doug "3Mil" Hill and his evil Greedy GP's think you are the GREATEST sales force in the world, as long as you bend over...and they get paid for it

Player,

What's up with all the FACES (SMILEY, FROWNY, UPSET, ETC..) ?

As an EDjones broker, I have a smiley face on at all times.  Also, I don't need all those faces to figure out what you are saying.  I am an EdJones Investment Counselor!  I CAN THINK FOR MYSELF!
