Slow computer or me…wasn’t the problem…and you know it.

Jul 16, 2007 3:39 pm

Actually, based on my own experience, I don't know it.  I have zero problems with the remote access.  I use it frequently.  Without any glitches.  I even helped another FA get his set up at home and the whole process with him maybe took 10 minutes.  That included downloading the necessary software too.  So, again, don't blame Jones for your computer or whatever the problem.  It obviously works well if you do it right.  Pretty much like everything else.

Okay…lets get this straight.  You now say everything works right…and I’m assuming you mean Jones in general.  But your other posts discuss the company needing changes.  Which is it superstar?  Hint, call ALL your home office buddies and get the correct answer. And again your remote access, when I was there, was full of problems and AGAIN nothing todo with my computer or myself…Funny how the joker who just left my office, and went to another brokerage, calls you guys a cult …he’d only been with Jones maybe half a year…His calls to the clients left in my old office, only help with ME moving them.

OK, fine.  Your experience is different than mine.  Thus a different perspective and different posts.  It's the same thing over and over with you and I.

You had a bad experience with Jones.  OK, I get it.  Whether you got passed over for an open office, didn't get LP, or Jones put you on goals and told you to beat it, I don't know (actually I do, but I'm not sharing that with the rest of the forum), but something has made you extremely bitter and not able to let go.  Cult.  No.  Loyal employees.  Yes.  There's a difference.  The new guy in your office wasn't around long enough to learn anything about how Jones really works.  Maybe if they find someone to put in there this time that is willing to work hard the revolving door will stop.  Hope you didn't leave an old list laying around with your clients names on them.   Some ambitious new FA may make it a personal challenge to go after those old assets.

The changes that I discuss Jones needing to make have very little to do with technology and more with ways to make me and my office more competitive with everyone else out there.  I don't think the company is perfect.  I also KNOW that it isn't as bad a place as you make it out to be.

Well, considering none of the above works for the reason I left...Only that many of my friends went Indy, and I chose to move on. So your little inuendo's aren't working.  Your true colors are shining, your manipulative, coniving and probably as dishonest as they come. Have you sold anything today?  I'm guessing the month ends next week..you'd better get to it.  I assume you've been calling on the 30 year bond placed into inventory today, right? And yes, it's a cult. Sorry.

You two should just meet up at a motel somewhere and just get it over with…

Why get it over with?  This is a crusade.

Well, considering none of the above works for the reason I left ...Only that many of my friends went Indy, and I chose to move on (OK, well congrats.  I'm sure you're much happier now). So your little inuendo's aren't working.  Your true colors are shining, your manipulative, coniving and probably as dishonest as they come (I guess that would depend on your frame of reference). Have you sold anything today?  I'm guessing the month ends next week (Tuesday)..you'd better get to it (Actually, yes, a couple of stocks, a tax free bond, some funds...not a bad days work).  I assume (You know what they say about assuming) you've been calling on the 30 year bond placed into inventory today, right (No, it was a 15 year muni at 4.65% and I'm not sure when they put it in inventory because it was an out of state bond)? And yes, it's a cult . Sorry (No need to apologize for being wrong).
