Anyone who has been an investment rep at both would appreciate input on which you think is better. From what I hear, credit union is preferred as it is less corporate, less buffoons to deal with, a more friendly environment, etc. Appreciate inout. Also what is ideal asset size of both?

Credit unions are usually represented by a particular group. It may be teachers, it may be a fortune 500 company. I work for one and will never work for a bank again, in my case it is the fortune 500 compnay. Lots of loyalty and trust because the credit unions usually treated these people pretty good over the years PM me if you want specific advice.
