That’s the big question- how long before they are gobbled? I think if the housing mess hadn’t been so bad, some would have happened already. I don’t worry too much about name recognition as all the biggies’ reputations are garbage right now. By +1 on Morgan Keegan, what do you mean?

I am doing some research on the regionals not in the news every day due to wirtedowns on subprime asbestos. It seems that Janney and Stiefel are pretty unscathed in all this mess. Does anyone have positives or negatives about either? I think Morgan Keegan has issues with their bond funds/bank ownership and I’ve done some homework on Ray Jay.
