Has anyone heard of Banc of America’s Pathways Financial Advisor I program? Any discussion would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

i have heard of the program and know many at BAI.  it is their version of a training platform.  its more like role where you will be working and cutting your teeth on the bottom of the book for the region.   especially if there are no open branches in your area.  overall from an educational standpoint and preparing you for doing your job, probably one of the worst programs out there relative to the competition.  your best bet is to see if you can get in and partner with some of the top producers who in turn for your hard work will mentor you and show you the ropes of how to be successful and then go out on your own.  who knows maybe the program has gotten better by now. probably not though.

Jeez, that bad huh? Of the advisors you know, which region/area are they in? They advertise it as if it’s a great program for beginners/relatively younger people to get into to start building your book of business. I was wondering if it’s just all smoke and mirrors for being someone’s sales assistant as opposed to letting me have my own branch and begin production.

It's called false advertising... or fraud.
