For those of you that have used these two models which do you prefer?  Im looking at the Plantronics CS55 and the CS70N.  Thanks for your input.

I use the CS50 with the HL-10 lifter.  Works great and you can find them cheaper on ebay.  I got mine for about $100 + S/H.

I have used the same one as Skippy for about two years.  It works great.  People tell me that they can’t tell that I’m on a headset.

I'll upgrade when they release the one that actually completes the calls itself.

I didn’t get the lifter.  That was a mistake on my part.

You can find the lifters on ebay as well.

I use the CS50.  Well, used is actually the right term.  The headset doesn’t work after I dropped it in the toilet.  I think I ruined the speaker.  I only had one client who said that she couldn’t hear me when I used the headset instead of the phone handset.  The only other headset I’ve looked at was the 510SL which is a Bluetooth headset that would also work with my cell phone.  But I’ve not heard any good feedback from anyone with that one.

So wait a minute, you're saying you dropped it in the toilet, and then put it back on your head?

I'm just dying to know why you brought it into the bathroom in the first place?   Was it on when it went in the toilet?  Could your prospect hear the toilet flush?  (Probably not as the noise cancelling technology is very good.)    I won't ask you to answer this one, but I'd have to wonder what kind of rep talks to their clients/prospects while they're in the bathroom?  Even if it was a personal call?  Was it a public restroom?  Were there others in there who heard you talking to yourself and then say "Oh crap!" when it fell in?    Spaceman, I like you, so don't answer these questions.  But it is kinda funny to think about!
