I am currently using Bridge Portfolios for perf reporting. Portfolio Director seems to do the same thing and it would cost me about 70% less.

Anyone have any good or bad input on them, or anyone else? I am looking for something to give me a simple report that shows perf year to date. I don’t need any of the additional portfolio analysis that some of the providers offer.

Thanks

If you want bare bones info you can set up excel to show YTD performance and it won’t cost you a dime.

Used PD a few years ago - way to difficult to use.  Maybe it’s gotten better, if not I would not touch it.

Try Black Diamond or Advent.  For both try your custodian as they may have a deal with them.  Advent is getting cheaper and charge by the number of accounts.  Advent may be a lot more than you need.  Black Diamond charges about 3 bps.  They may be a better choice for your needs.

Good Luck

I would agree to check with your custodian as they might have their own performance reporting software or valuable discount programs.  For example, Trade-PMR provides our own AMIR-Compliant Performance Reporting tool for $99/month unlimited number of accounts so it could be in your best interest to check with your current custodian as they might have something similar and economically viable.

Fred,

Can you tell me more about your performance reporting tool? Is it a proprietary, in-house application or a 3rd party one we might be familiar with?

Good Evening Morphius,

The Trade-PMR performance reporting is entirely our own in-house software and is an optional expense for our Advisors.  They are not required to use it and we've built data-interfaces to work with competing performance reporting software providers like portfolio director, Advent, etc., etc.,

To that point, performance reporting is not required by any regulatory agency.  Although with an offering like Trade-PMR's,  it would be hard to understand why an advisor would not offer performance reporting.
