Hi y’all,

I recently joined an indy advisory firm and I’m looking to build my business mostly through “cold walking” small businesses (doctors, lawyers, dentists, chiropractors, etc.) I have experience in my old field (computer networking) “cold walking” small businesses, so this is already my element.

I saw a post by Noggin where he said we all wish for that insight (we gained from our experiences). This made me think, does anyone else have any experiences they would recommend for someone just starting out in my position? Looking for some real gems (although, I will take any abuse, which seems to be the norm here).

Thanks,

Lawrence

Consider cold calling 1/2 the time. That way you will be ready and prepared to prospect on days when cold walking are not possible.

Wow! A response!

Sarcasm aside, that’s a good point.
