I am looking to leave the wholesale side of the business after nearly 10 years to go into a retail position.  Obviously I know to an extent what im getting into but the financials are very different.  I have covered wires to indys and everything in between.  I have some connections in a variety of firms.  On the surface I think EJ has the best options for a newbie getting started.  MSSB, Merrill, UBS, Etc. are more sink or swim.  Am I crazy for even trying to start from scratch?  Do I have any distinct advantage at a firm like Ej with financial services experience?  It is a big step and a tough call.
