Qualified Appointment means the person is interested and can afford Whole Life Insurance.
Insurance is not a commodity that you can sell like stock. There is no "good pitch" for life insurance that you can deliver over the phone. You must do a complete assessment of client needs. This involves a total needs approach.
Just call and try to get an appointment. When they press for more details, you should state "I can show you better than I can tell you" and suggest an appointment time.
Also, you might want to consider a guaranteed UL. The premiums will be much more reasonable than whole life insurance for the same amount of coverage and the contract period will be similar.
