In my quest for a realistic job preview prior to my EDJ start date I have two more simple questions (primarily looking for EDJ FA feedback but also appreciate input from all FAs) <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Assuming you've been around awhile...

1. Providing ballpark figures, what would you estimate your annual compensation was each year for years 1, 2, & 3 excluding values of trips and/or gifts?

2. Would you have considered yourself to have been below, at, or above performance expectations?

Quality feedback and suppressing the urge to embellish is greatly appreciated.

55K 2. 60K 3. 65-75K   I am average (maybe a bit above).  This includes bonuses and salary as well as commissions.  My salary may have been above the average as well because of where I live and my background.   Keep in mind, the difference in income if you hit your milestone bonuses or not is BIG (about 38K over the first 36 months).  And there is no graduated scale.  You either hit them or you don't.  The milestone bonuses are very achievable (simply 100% of expectations).  I would not count on much from new account bonuses.

1. 51K  2. 63K  3 gone....

B24 is right a bout the milestone bonuses, I think by hitting the first two in year1 it got me $10K more than not hitting them(I think it was $1K,$4K,$5K).. But in year 2 I got $7K twice, so if you start taking that off, it changes real quick.. 1. 41K  2. 49K 3 gone..
