What are some quick indicators to look at when analyzing stocks for a client?  I’m just talking about from a balance sheet and income statement aspect.   When I’m on the phone with a client and they ask me to look at a stock, I usually look and the current assets and current liabilities for a quick indicator.

Find a research report and read verbatum…if you spend too much time trying to look at balance sheets and income statements, you won’t be around long enough to worry about it. That’s coming from someone in the CFA program
