If I had an uncle in the biz with $100 million dollar book AND he also worked @ SB AND I couldn't manage to get hired at SB or ANY other B/D without the help of a recruiter...maybe I just have to really ask myself ...do I deserve a desk.

I don't doubt that recruiters can play an important role in the hiring process.  I'm sure you all do great work.

However, there is a difference between recruiters on this board that actually add value, and those that are blatantly self-serving.

This latter group is recently becoming more and more annoying.
