Seems Prudential is buying out a bunch of independents.

About to fall under this Prudential empire as a new RR.

Anyone have any advice? Should I go and attempt to become an assistant for a successful Westport or Essex, CT firm?

Feel as if I am at a crossroad with all the options in the world, but if I chose wrong…

My background is in sales, management and war vet. Comes with a MBA… yes, that and 50 cents gets me a lot… phone call now a days.

What do you want to do? Do you want to be a financial advisor, annunity salesperson, life insurance sales, or something other? Let us know more about what you want and maybe we can give you some direction. And don't sell your experience or education short. Nice to know you're not all ego, but education and experience count for a lot.

My primary goal in life is to be a Financial Advisor. My only problem, which may be good, is the fact I have done everything but Financial Advising.
