I was with AXA for about 4 years doing retirement planning and investment management, before that with Mutual of Omaha for a little more than a year learning how to embarass myself in front of prospects.

Now I'm at Merrill still doing the former everyday, and the latter from time to time as well.

Moneyadvisor- Why did you switch from Jones? If you had it to do again knowing what you know now would you make the same switch?

Check out other posts on this board to get an idea of why he left. Its easy to find, since 87% of these posts are related to EJ.

Noggin - I did’nt like the A share MF business, and needed a more compelling daily environment. I used to refer to my Jones office as the tower of solitude. And, where I live, nobody knows what the hell Edward Jones is. I am greatful for what I believe to be great training, but yes, I definately made a good move.
