Yes, I’m the newest lurker tuned poster introducing myself because I have accepted an Ed Jones offer.  At this point I’ve gotten a lot of great information (amid the sh!tstorm of flaming) from this site, so I really just wanted to thank everyone for their contributions.  I’ll not have anything worthwhile to contribute for some time, so I’ll be content just lurking when I’m not busting my ass studying, training, prospecting etc.

While I'm sure my very existence is already in question, I can assure you that I am real and not some incarnation of Windy or some other person ... even though my sig might hint otherwise.  Sorry Windy, couldn't help myself.   Anyway, hopefully I'll be too busy working obnoxious hours to sucessfully build a respectable book to have time for this forum very often.  But I look forward to reading more of your experiences and maybe sharing some of my own over the comming year.

While I think that piling on Wind is well deserved, I call BS on this “new person”. It seems strange for someone to join a board and introduces himself with what seems to be the purpose of flaming on another member. In the spirit of Occam’s Razor, the most logical explanation is that this is an existing member looking to get a little something started.

With that said, I do think the inevitable firefight will be funny...

I hope so. The posts have been boring lately.

I’m not sure why my replies are ending up in the middle of the first page instead of the bottom of the second but here’s hopeing the third time is the charm.

Be my guest!  I do hope you give me credit though ... I'm proud of it.

Oh well, too many drinks tonight I guess.  Vol this is in response to your question about using my sig.  Here's hoping I figure out how to reply correctly so I don't hijack my own threads with clutter.
Firstly, I appreciate that you know what Occam's Razor is ... although I guess I should realize that I find myself in more educated company here than usual.  That being said, I really am a new person and only poking fun at Windy, because as long as I've been lurking on this forum, that has been the prevailing theme.  I can't blame Windy for how he reacted based on his experience here, but it's all in good fun from me.  I'm just a product of the system here.    Anyway, I'm glad to have added a little excitement and now I'll return to composing my resignation letter.  Ahhhhh feels good.
Good to see you're making lots of e-friends...

I did however do some reading on this forum and find it funny that the majority of the people who are starting crap with me constantly, are no more than 3 years out, with the majority being a few months ahead of me and even behind me.

Thats you SometimesNowhereA Year? and all those posts about me not knowing anything…I’d hardly believe you’re argument doesn’t apply to yourself, if thats the case.

Part of me doesn't want to respond to this because I know the nuance of a well formulated argument will be lost on you, but I am a sucker for good verbal banter so I'll bite.   Wind, you need to reread my posts. I know your level of reading comprehension is stuck somewhere between 10th and 11th grade, but even you should be able to tell what my issue is with you. Since you think I am "starting crap" about you "not knowing anything" I will go ahead and spell it out for you in clear language that you can understand.   I think you are a pompous moron. I will break that down with definition and citation of your posts to which I directly responded and had issue with...   Pompous - 1. characterized by an ostentatious display of dignity or importance     Moron - 1. a person who is notably stupid or lacking in good judgment.   I think few people would disagree that you are a person who is noticeably lacking in good judgment who is characterized by an ostentatious display of dignity or importance. In fact, you should probably legally change your name to Pompous J Moron. It would fit you. People could get to know everything about you by checking out your name in a phone book.   You will notice that the first time I directly engaged you with any sort of criticism was in a thread (located here) where you stated that there were only two reasons my BOA wasn't busy ("I find it hard to believe a BOA is a waste, unless you A) aren't giving her everything to do, that she could be doing instead of yourself or B) aren't doing much business")...   ...then followed that up by insulting my home life ("You just wan't (sic) to argue because your wife has you sleeping on the couch.... ").   So here it is for you. If you openly insult someone's business and then their family, a verbal whipping on some message board is getting off easy. In some places (your neck of the woods is probably one of them) that is grounds for carrying your teeth home with you in a bag. At that point I joined the "starting crap" with Wind club because I believe you earned it.   As for my posts, I rarely offer advice because I know relatively little about the industry. When I do speak from a position of experience, it is fairly disclosed as advice from a new guy when it is relevant. That's how you could tell that I am only a few months ahead of you. On the other hand you are out on this board posting like you have earned your Seg 5 LP/GP stripes and you aren't even out a year.   Next time you want to rehash an argument, get your facts straight. Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to learn that ellipses come in 3's (...) and that capitalization directly follows question marks.
