I'm a new broker started to work for an independent firm and was wondering if anyone can give me some guidance as to how to build a book of business preferably with munis at first. I'm from new york so would it matter if i use munis from different states?

What type of script should i use?

What type of leads should I look for? Does it matter?

How would I get paid? What is a fair amount to charge?
