I have been in finance for a while always in a sales assistant or jr role. I was doing institutional trading for Citi when they had a normal stock price ( reverse splits dont count ). I am currently in the ML PMD program trying to network and cold call but its hard as crap to start from scratch. All the successful PMD people have brought in books from other firms or they throw the younger ones to teams and they work the C/D lists for these teams. Ok so here is the part I need help on I am looking to go to over to the bank side and be an advisor. I have done it before as a Jr.it wasnt so bad until my boss made sexual advances and I ran. So let me know otherwise I will probably get canned since I am not hitting my hurdles and I can only get so many family and friends to manage. I do love being an FA just need help getting clients like every FA out there and dont want to go back to being a sales asst... ok thanks for any advice. To bank or ???

I'm not sure what you're looking for. If you are looking for someone to tell you whether or not to go to a bank that is a personal decision. Use the search function and search for "bank" to pull up posts. If you want to know a way to start in the direction of making your hurdles go to the prospecting section and read the 500 day war from start to end.
