Hi there

I finally got an offer from MSSB (working in a Smith Barney office, MS office is two floors down).  Salary I wanted, seems like a great branch.   I have given myself a little time to decide, but does anyone have any idea about how much health insurance, dental and vision are?  My branch manager is going to get back to me, but I want to give my current job as much notice as I can, so any help is appreciated.   Also, anyone have an experience with any 'fringe" benefits of the job (marketing budget, events, discounts at retailers, etc that might come with working at a big firm?)?   Thanks

We want winners, not pikers.  A piker is someone who walks at the bell.  A piker asks how much vacation time he gets in the first year.  See, people work here to become filthy rich.  No other reason.  That’s it.  You want vacation time?  Go teach third grade public school.

Pucker up and ask, they want you, and you want to know the whole story. If they don't tell you then you don't want to be there, because they will hide other things from you.

Except Vot. He said he only wants to make 175K.

I’m going to ask in the AM.  Certainly not afraid.  Didn’t think it would be too difficult to get some answers from a community based on the fact that everyone is an FA here.

  Thanks anyways

When you learn what an insurance policy pays look me up.

Yep, 175k and I'm punching 30hrs a week with 10 weeks vacation a year.  Not lying.

Most of us wouldn’t know because we don’t work there(or haven’t worked there yet).

Others like to have fun. Others are jerks.

Took the offer, benefits are good (comparable to my current job)… Starting on 9/14.

  Woo hoo!

Hey Workin -

Can you elaborate on what the Bene's are?  I too have asked the question a few times around here and nothing, not sure why??  I am in the in between phase, so I'll find out soon enough, but it's a question that I have great interest in...   TIA
