Hi new to the forum, I recently passed series 65 and would like some advice from expierienced members the best way to begin career as financial advisor, my goal is to get the CFP designation I have experience in insurance sales so I dont have book of business in AUM yet Thanx.

I know this much not to get started with primerica, seriously though do any members know of any RIA firms in NYC that I can partner that would take me in without a book of business, I have a client base from selling insurance

Ambitious

Out of curiosity, how long did you study for the series 65 and what kind of score did you get on the test?  I have a couple of friends who are in the process of studying the material and are taking the test in 2 weeks. Thanks,
