I have all my securities and insurance licenses but do not have any experience in the financial service industry. I have applied everywhere and keep getting rejected I guess because I have no financial service experience. Any opinion on what I should do? merrill, jpmorgan, wellsfargo, all rejected me. Any advice on how I can get my foot in the industry? or is this not the right time?
Wells Fargo Advisors isn’t hiring anyone - internally or externally. “We” (because I work there) have enough advisors right now, that we are flooded with resumes daily. Nothing is opening up, because advisors aren’t wanting to "jump ship."

You might want to try to become a “licensed banker” with Wells Fargo Bank. If you get hired, you will be a banker for Wells Fargo Bank, and a brokerage associate for Wells Fargo Advisors. All investments that are uncovered from profiling, MUST be referred out to a financial advisor; however you get credit for invest-able assets.

The turnover rate at Wells Fargo, on the average, is 55%. So, I think you have a great shot at getting hired as a "licensed banker."

Also, have someone look at your resume.
