I am currently in pwm for a discount firm. I am thinking about a move to an RIA as a financial advisor. Is anyone familiar with this type of role. Is it part fnancial palnning part new client or asset developement? I am used to a nice salary but am tired of selling poor in house wrapped product. Have CFP. Looking for role with smaller firm. I have a great track record gather share of wallet with existing clients but it would take time to build the skills to prospect new, so I like the idea of a base.  Thanks
