02.These prospects were asked two specific questions on the survey:

03.In their pre-retirement years, these prospects have high income producing assets. They are interested in  considering new strategies to maximize their investment growth and are planning for active, affluent retirements.

04.These prospects will be located in the target marketing areas you request and you will receive their name, home  address, age range, income range, type of dwelling, home value, length of residence, and home telephone numbers of these responders via email.

05.You will contact prospects who (a) earn enough money to afford and need investments, (b) are currently aware of the benefits of investing and (c) are not confident with their current investment strategy.

An SRC rep actually called me posing as someone interested in my services - his name is Abel Bronson ( if that is really his name ). He then wiggled into his pitch as a lead salesman, telling me how great the service was, and about the iron clad guarantee. After letting myself get duped into doing a “trial offer” , I looked into the reports on the company, and called back to cancel. They had already tapped my credit card, and no one would even speak to me. Abel was described as being on “medical leave”, but miraculously recovered shortly thereafter. I had to cancel my credit card so they wouldn’t rip it off again. I realize how tough it is out there to make a living these days, but the people at SRC have morphed into vampires. Their so-called guarantee is just an inside joke to them, and their business is one shot to the jugular, then hide behind the phone recordings. SRC should be put out of business. All I can do is to alert my associates to stay clear of this nasty nest of theives.

I purchased a list of leads on 2.25.09 from SRC leads. The sales representative told that the list was respondents from a survey they had sent out in my area. These people had supposedly request to be contacted by a financial adviser. I was promised a full refund if the list did not produce results within 90 days After sending an intro letter and following up with phone calls there was nothing. Nobody had heard of a survey and they sure didn’t want to speak with me. I requested a refund on 3.30.09 and they offered to replace the leads but after the last list I didn’t want more time wasting phone calls. I just asked that they refund my money. I finally got my refund at the end of July after almost 6 months. I had to hassle them the whole time to get them to refund my money. I was told there was a form that I must submit and they would e-mail it to me. They conveniently did not e-mail the form until after the 90 days was up. At that point they told me I would only get a 25% refund because I did not submit the form in time. Finally I was promised a full refund minus there cancellation fee. I did not see a refund and I kept calling and e-mailing. On 6.11.09 they finally told me that they refund would be made on 7.3.09 so I waited another month. On 7.3.09 there still was no refund so I called again on 7.7.09. Then they told me there was technical difficulty and they would call me when the problem was resolved. 7.21.09 I called again to find out about my refund. I was told that I should see the refund to my credit card tomorrow. We will see if that happens. 5 MONTHS and no refund. Do not order anything from this company.

WTF, leave some for me asshole!  I need to lower my taxes this year and I was hoping to pre-pay for $5000 worth of leads for 2010.

Also I was hoping going forward I could just have you link up with my checking which I keep a ton of cash in and just have you debit my account as needed once the $5000 is exhausted.

I received a call from SRC Lists offering the same deal as SRC Leads, but they want $3.50 per lead. The caller, named Abel Bronson, told me he was referred to me by a network contact of mine on LinkedIn.com.  Interestingly the caller from SRC Leads was named Abram. I can’t help but notice that both names have biblical reference, and both companies have the same mode of operation. Oddly, Abel mispronounced my associate’s name. So, I contacted my associate to see if he had in fact referred me. He did not! So it is clear that SRC Lists aka SRCLists.com & SRC Leads aka SRCleads.com are similar scams if not one and the same and now they are using LinkedIn to lend credibility to their scam. I’m going to do my best to make the folks at LinkedIn.com aware of the abuse with hope that I can get them barred.  All of the guarantees are the same as SRC Leads the same as those noted by other posters, and SRC Lists is also from Miami Florida. I told the caller that I had a bad experience with SRC Leads, and he explained that they were a totally different company in competition with that group...that their guarantee was good. I asked him to, to send me his contact information via e-mail. He indicated that he was sending it as we spoke, but hours later it has not yet arrived. Beware of SRC Leads, SRC Lists, and Prestige Management and its many affiliates because they do not honor their guarantee either. Bottom line, guarantees aren’t worth the paper they are written on, and good luck trying to report them to the BBB because they have learned how to manipulate the BBB’s system. There are reputable companies out there if you do your homework.

It would be useful to have a Scam Update Link on this site with feedback on the various scams going on out there.
