Hi,

I just had the 60 minute interview thing with EJ. She asked several questions of me, and I got to introduce her to Ron Paul(She had never heard of him). She is going to buy his latest book.   Now my question, what should I expect at the F2F interview with Jones? I dont know if I should wear my Ron Paul TShirt or not. I quess I could wear it under my Tank top.   Can some of you folks with IQ's over 70 help me out with what will be asked at this interview?   Thanks in advance, Saul

Hi Saul and everybody (first post here)-

I did mine about three weeks ago and it was actually the easiest part of the process.   My interview was pretty structured, with him taking notes (apologeticaly, because he couldn't give me the eye contact he wanted). There were about 10 questions and it turned into a nice chat where he showed me around his office, we talked about the my area trade area, the computer systems, etc.   Most of the questions will be similar to the phone interview. He/She will ask you about your doorknocking experiences, like "Tell me about the worst door you knocked on." If you were scared to death, tell him that. I told him the worst part was just getting started, and then he laughed and told me his first time, he sat in his car for 15 minutes at the first door before he had the guts to finally go up and do it. 9 years later, he's doing just fine.   Have more than the 15 contacts in your survey. The fact that you did more than you were supposed to seemed to be a good point with him. I was asked, "Why did you do more than the 15 contacts?" (I told him I set the goal of finishing the entire neighborhood, regardless of how many contacts it ended up being.)   I distinctly remember being asked, very simply, "Why you?" Have a good, heartfelt answer to that question.   One other thing - when you get your chance, ASK QUESTIONS back. Engage them. I asked what was the one thing he would do better as a rookie now that looks back - what advice can he give a guy about to take this on. ASK, ASK, ASK.   If I may add, don't over-think this thing. I've interviewed hundreds of people over the years, as I am sure the Ed J recruiters have, and the super-polished interviews always raised red flags for me. They're not hiring people to do interviews all day, so don't show them you know how to give a perfect interview, if that makes sense. People get great at interviews by going to far too many of them (read that: they can't hold a job, professional bullshitter, etc).   They aren't looking for a "perfect" candidate- there are none. They want to see how you present in a professional setting, can you think quickly on your feet, etc.   Hope that helps.

I think the Ron Paul shirt is fine as long as you have an American Flag pin and Fox News shoe laces to match. I shouldn't have to tell him that though he sold vacs.

Why? Because, your a narcissistic prick and wasted the firms time going over your personal agenda. You should have been there to listening and respond to the topics she asked.. That is what the REAL interview was for... Best of luck being a douche for the rest of your meaningless life.    BTW- what's your name.. I am on the recruiting team for our firm.. I will make sure you get that next interview.    Miss J

Saul4Paul …even from North of The Border , I must confess even we know of Ron Paul. We have our lunatic fringe too, and I am betting you would fit right in with them. BTW , since you obviously have not yet heard the news in the backwoods…The Democrats and the Republicans have already decided on their candidates. Hate to burst your bubble and that of Ron Paul …it’s is not going to happen and you can bet the Gold Standard on that!!!
