Hey all,

*pulls out a brand new pair of shoes, a winter jacket, and some gloves.
Now I get to hit the front lines!  Just thought I’d say another soldier enters the doorknocking war zone.

I took the 7 and blew it away.  I was projected to get an 80 by jones.  I ended up getting an 84.  I’m surprised I didn’t get antsy with the exam.  Taking all those smaller ones that Jones gives definately added to my patience level.  Now, time to head to the bar this weekend and celebrate!  Hopefully I’ll be able to check back on the forum more often once I pass my S66.  Only a few weeks away.  My how time flew past.  Off to the bar to celebrate!

Have fun and call a cab or a DD when you’re done.  Congrats!

Congrats! You are coming into the biz at a time when you may have the greatest opportunity of any of our lifetimes. Be honest, be aggressive and outwork your competitors and you will be RICHLY rewarded. Investors are scared, confused and looking to blame their current broker, especially if they haven’t heard from him/her recently. Good job so far!

I am young, but I have a very strong work ethic.  I think my score speaks that about me.  I am also aware of the current market situations and very excited to get into this position at an opportune time.  I made it back alright.  This weekend should be the interesting time.  As to a cab, that’s why I got friends.

You are typing too well...something seems suspect here.

Congrats, but you might want to tone it down about your score. I wouldn't really consider an 84 "blowing it away" nor does it show much about your work ethic.   I wish you good luck but remember, Passing the S7 is the easy part.

Yes, the S66 is a rather dry exam from my first glance at the material.  I’ve been looking over it and I’m not as familiar with the material as I was with the S7.  Either way, I’m studying my butt off to pass it.  KYC in 2 weeks.

Fighting Chance - I’m in the Northeast.

As to my score, I’m just proud of it.  I went in with a lower projected score from Jones, and I ended up scoring higher.  Just something I’m proud of, not trying to draw a lot of attention to it.  Sorry if it came off as a big egotistical remark.  I put in a lot of hours and did fairly well in my mind.  I’m glad for that.

I wasn’t really egotistical as much as it shows a difference in perception. I personally don’t think an 84 is a very good score.

None of that aetters though because i've never won or lost a client because of my S7 score.   PS. everybody scores higher on the real S7. They intentionally make the practice test harder. That's no true for the S66 though so be carefull.

Either way schlemoc, you pass.  Congrats and good luck!

Passed the S66 and found my way to KYC.  Loved St. Louis, and now onto the real work at hand.
