1st post, lot's of good information here!

I started with ML on the day the BofA merger was announced! Since that time, I've passed the 7, the 66 and my insurance licensing. I'm building my pipleline and have a good start on my business plan.

I have it on good authority, that myself and many other PMDrs are probably going to get the axe on Monday the 26th; the same week I'm scheduled to get my production number  My complex has called a mandatory all PMD meeting Monday afternoon, after market close,  and a mandatory all FA meeting on Tuesday morning(to explain the ax'n to those that are left, I'm sure!)

Question to all of you....what now?? Who do you think would be most interested in a new FA with great training(Thanks, ML-BofA whatever you are morphing into...) and no assets?

Thanks everyone!

You could try another wire(MS or UBS) but that might be tough…Regionals could be an option(Stifel, etc)… Bank(Jpm,C,regional bank, 5/3, suntrust etc)

If I were in your shoes I’d call anyone and everyone. Find out what your options are and rank them. I call all the other wires, regionals, indys, edj, and banks. You don’t have to decide where you’re going to spend the rest of you’re life, just the next few years while this stuff sorts itself out.

I echo except I would personally visit each local branch if you can.

Thanks for the honesty  Thinking of going back into the wine business, at least I always had my "happy" face on

I was going to suggest the United States Postal Service.

try to find the biggest team in your area and tell them why your services are needed and how you will help them grow their business.

I think other employers will understand whats going on. Your licensced now which counts for something. I have actually noticed quite a few job openings at banks, and some of the wirehouses. indeed.com is a good source to look for open positions.

Look at EJ. They will like that you are licensed, and you should be able to get your can-sell date after the 45 trips you will take to St. Louis.
