I have  a series 7 and 66 (from a short stint with EJ) and am in the hiring process with Cotton States Insurance. Besides being a conservative company, I am encouraged by the training base of 36k annually and an office to work from for 3-5 years while you build your business. Anyone with experience with this company?

What is the fine print?  I mean, despite the 36K annually do you need to pay for the office and related expenses?

Office is paid for. Computer, internet, local phone service paid for. The basics. Any marketing they co-op. Of course you have to “invest” your own funds to an extent. Why would’t you? You have to work and produce. Just like all other financial  companies. Only way to prepare yourself for eventually owning you own agency.  If there is anything hidden I am unaware at this time. But I would consider anything along those lines par for the course. I go for another interview tomorrow (my third). Hopefully getting close.
I had considered Farmers, but they have you pay for everything, starting with the background check. No offense to Farmers. They appear to be top notch. But for someone who has fought off unemployment and associated lack of funds disease, it is a welcome sight.
