Competing Offers from Schwab and Fidelity
This is my first post so if it isn't up to par in terms of forum rules or is posted in the wrong section, I apologize. I've got an offer from Schwab for an Associate Financial Services Professional role and from Fidelity for a Financial Customer Representative role. Same thing, but 2 different names. Both stack up neck and neck in terms of cash compensation and total value package with benefits included. I tried searching the forums but every thread that I clicked on where advice about Schwab was solicited led me to an error page. A buddy I used to work with is with Fidelity and he raves about how much he loves it and it was a good career move for him. I don't have anyone I know personally I can call on for an inside opinion of working for Schwab though. Can anyone who works for, or has worked for Schwab give me a rundown of the basics that everyone always asks about? Company culture? Room for upward advancement? Overall qualirty of the people they employ? Is it just a churn and burn place like some of the major players are? Thanks everyone in advance.
