Am currently a Sales Assistant (official title in the office is "Client Relations Manager") was with Jones 7+ yrs and moved to LPL with my Rep. We (Rep and I) have decided that with the direction our business is going it's time for me to get licensed. My Rep says I'll have no trouble passing the test having been in the business for a while...but the thought of taking the test makes me want to vomit.

Does anyone have any recommendations on one place's study material vs another's? Has anyone passed seemlessly from being Sales Assistant to being licensed?

I hear Jones has a 95% pass rate.

Good luck.

Max- why don't you post something useful?

Jones' spin doctors having been spewing that number for years- ain't true.

Devoted- Dearborn is good and they provide class room instruction.

Good Luck

PS MAX- Jones is so ANTI BOA's getting their license she couldn't have stayed there. If she hadn't left with her IR she might have ended up with one of the typical IR's who need to keep 'em at their desk.

How could I possibly post something useful?  I’m with Jones.  So I thought I would go the comedy route, but alas I am no Robin Williams either.  sigh

Well, that did make me smile-not laugh, but smile.

Thx Muny. I've heard good things about Dearborn and we get discount from LPL!

We did see a few we recruited not pass the 7 Max. But we atributed (sp?) that to the fact they weren't meant for the job.

I would recommend Pass Perfect. I got a 70, just as good, if not better than 100. If I had to take it again, I would take more of the practice exams and not get overwelmed with trying to memorize the material from the books.

Good Luck,

Dan
