I'd go with one of the big 3, you'll have little to no resistence opening accounts at either BAC, MSSB or WFC.

Wow, that’s really sad.  The big three are Bank of America, Morgan Stanley/Smith Barney, and Wells Fargo. 

  I can't imagine you're going to have "little to no resistance opening accounts" at one of those firms.  Especially in light of the last 6 months.    My suggestion, go indy.  Find an indy rep in your area that would let you set up shop with them.  Rather than try to move your existing clients into a company who's probably got a black eye, just tell them you're hanging out your own shingle.  I would think in this environment, you'd have a lot less resistance in indyworld than you would at one of the beaten up big three.

I can’t believe I missed it.  It must be my euphoria over the market being up so much today.  I guess the bear market is over.
