Indy,

Sounds like a guy in my area. He left after his contract was up to go to RJ and he has been hit with a bill for training costs. He (and I) thought 3 years and you could make your own decision but I guess you are always on the hook for training. He hasn't settled yet so I don't know the final price but still, he was out over 36 months?
I call BS yet again. I can't believe the BS on this site sometimes. After your 3 years, the only thing you will get is a letter reminding you of the 1 year non-solicit.
Call what you want. It doesn't mean sh*t to me. I just retold the story the BOA in his old office told me. I guess he lied to her and she passed the lie to me so I could lie to all of you.

Jax, I don’t doubt that’s what you heard.  There just has to be more to the story.  The training cost amortization runs out after 36 months, so there is nothing for them to come after you for.  Unless the guy took over a huge office and they are just trying to keep what the guy was handed, I don’t know what else it could be.
