Find an RIA near you and go there. Hell, PM me if you are on the east coast. I’m looking.

BD, I posted a reply on the other thread as well, but I’m with an indy firm that would be interested in talking to you about what we have to offer. We are self clearing, privately held and support offices all over the country. PM me for info.

If you are in CO I may be able to bring you in under me @ LPL. If you have a clean book.   PM if you want.

BDLink it looks like you have a lot of offers out there.  Opening your own branch is not all that it is cracked up to be.

Contact me if you wish, I can provide you with several options:

A) Establish your own RIA Firm B) Consider joining an existing RIA Firm within our network as an IAR C) Become a Hybrid Advisor (several options exist)   Best of luck to you in your career.   www.tradepmr.com

I have a friend who is lic, and looking for an opportunity to get into the business, however the indy world requires at least a T-12 of $25K and he is a sales asst so he has no trailing business, would he be able to hook up with you and join an existing RIA in your network as an IAR?

He has a 7 and 66(was going to move up from sales asst, but instead wants out).

If you go to LPL be very careful if you join another advisor and have them osj you. If they give you 30 days notice to find another OSJ you have to find another osj with in 30 days or you are screwed. LPL is not letting advisors go under home supervision so you either have your 24 or you find a 24 to do your compliance for you but LPL is out of the picture. Never go into a joint number with your OSJ even if they say it is for compliance reasons because that a lie.

Thank you for all the great advice.  Great News.  I have been working like crazy, calling, credit bureau, getting things corrected and my score raised. I am now clear and accepted. I am weighing all my options.  Again, thank you for the help.

they are not letting lpl reps who are under a osj now to move to in house supervision. You pass the test for the 24 with in 30 day or your out if you loose your sponser osj
