Hello,

I am considering leaving my curent firm, one of the 3 largest in the us.

Right now I am exploring independent platforms, for example LPL Financial.

I like what I see at LPL so far, but can anyone please suggest other platforms like it?

And please let me know what you think of them.

I'd like to do a thorough review.

Thanks

LPL is good, but an easier transition for you could be WFA Finet since you are at a large firm unless of course you are already with WFA PCG.

I'd suggest you find a few indy reps in your area, call them, and ask them for a few moments about their transition experience. Trust me, that would be a penny of investment per $100 return.

When I went indy, I had a couple years worth of notes about how to do it the right way. I got it 90% right or so, because of that.

Take a look at Raymond James Financial Services.

Wirehouse type platform, with an independent culture. I left a wire to go there and am very happy.

You can PM me if you want more info or have specific questions.

If you have a series 7 and 63 and live in NYC then we need to talk. I'm gonna add to my desk. (yes I know this is vague.. I can't go into too much detail on a forum for compliance reasons) We are one of the fastest growing firms in the country with multiple offices around the world. Please pass this around to anyone you know who qualifies. email resumes to [email protected]

Hey troll buy an add... I wouldn't go to a firm that has their HR people prospect for people on blogs..strange

If you could back and start over, would you choose to start with a Big 3 or go Indy to begin with?
