Similar to all of the surveys taking place about Registered Representatives rating Broker - Dealers, is anyone familiar with a survey where Reg Reps rated clearing firms?  I think we should begin our own informal poll.  Anyone have any ideas or comments to help?

Clearing Firms or Custodians?

What do we based ranking on, service cost etc (If you are referring to clearing firms, Pershing, etc then everybodys experience will be different because each Clearing Firm has different options/parameter for each b/d, custodian, etc)...

Mmm. This is interesting, because frankly I've been thinking lately how irritating it is to deal with Pershing ... but what do I have to base that on? My only other custodian was self-clearing (Edward Jones) so what basis do I have to make comparisons?

I've seen plenty of clearing firms. National Financial Services is excellent.
