Anyone have any experience working with brokerxpress?

they’re a great firm for execution if you trade for your clients i.e. stocks, ETF’s, options, futures…awesome technology and very low cost.

I took a look at them and may ultimately use them. Very laid back environment and efficient back office. Full product range, decent prices, minimal compliance hassles.

I've learned a lot more about them.  They are really geared toward practices that do a lot of trading and options.  Not a great place to build a mutual fund practice.  If you do mutual funds with Brokerxpress I think you would be better off to do it through an advisory set up.

What exactly IS an “advisory set up?”

What I mean by that Morphius, and maybe I didn’t say it right but what I meant is waive the A share load or do no loads, y shares whatever and charge an advisory fee.

I know we have some bad blood but what b/d would you recommend?  What business model do you think works and why?

By now you’ve probably read enough old threads to realize that I - and others here - are perfectly willing to share our knowledge and experience with those who ask rather than demand, show they are willing to make an effort on their own behalf, and refrain from calling those whose help they need names.

If you know anyone who meets those criteria that is looking for help, let me know.

okay…???  Are you saying I demanded and didn’t ask and I haven’t made an effort on my own behalf?  Well I have.  You are the weirdest dude on this forum.  If I go back and read old threads posted by you I realize how much of an attitude you have and how seriously you take yourself.  Loosen up man.

If I am as weird as you say, why don’t you keep asking me questions?

Nice, you are loosening up.  Keep it up Morphius, maybe you are cool guy after all.

Did I unintentionally give you the impression that I care whether you think I am cool or not?
