Value of Marketing/Prospecting Reps
At my firm, we have been promoting new alliances and I'd like to get some of your feedback.
What value do some of you older, more established reps, place on those who will prospect for you?
Take, for example, a CPA (properly securities licensed) who sends you a $1million dollar client. Assuming the CPA is registered with your same firm, what do you pay him for that referral?? Do you pay him a % of the business?? A flat fee??
This might not be applicable to some of you wirehouse/Jones guys, but this is pretty standard in the indie world.
