Our office started taking market holidays starting in 2007…closing down the office, no staff…
No point having a full staff there when we can’t do anything.

It was a great day to put in a full day. So are Saturdays and Sundays. I went in a little later and made some call backs, booked an appointment to close a deal, closed another to open accounts Monday, did a mailing, set up some things for next month, and did some research.There are no days like Good Friday and the day after Thanksgiving to get a jump on things. Hint: I find that the Sat AFTER Good Friday is better than Good Friday itself for cold calling and hands down the day after Turkey day is the single best day to make residential cold calls.
