Any suggestions on solid inflation protected funds? I’ve got some clients asking about them and it’s just not something I follow.

Franklin Templeton and PIMCO have ones that I am aware of. Since they are both good fixed income managers, they would be good choices. However, I generally use TIP (ETF), as it is the least expensive, and most inflation-protection funds primarily use TIPS anyway. No sense piling a heavy expense ratio on top of a basic TIPS fund. Although I think PIMCO and FT also employ some commodity strategies in their inflation funds as well. Can’t remember.
