Over my many years in the business I have read many great marketing and selling books. Some of the best in my opinion are the following. 

Leroy Gross - The art of selling intangibles.

Harry Pappas Jr. - selling from the heart (out of print) 1st chapter is great on what you need to do to make it big! 

Nick Murray- the best of nick murray

Plus many, many others. 

The bottom line message that I have taken from all these books is that there is no EASY way. You have be willing to work hard for the first 10 years of your stockbrokers life and you will be set for life! 

Harry Pappas had a tape series out. a guy he interviewed named Nadav Baum said it best, "live the first 10 years of your financial consultant life like nobody will, and you can live the rest of your life like nobody can". 

I am interested in hearing other advisors best book recommendations.
