I work for a regional brokerage firm and many of our brokers are looking for a contact management program to streamline their business. I have had experience with both ACT! 4 Advisors and Breaking Away. Has anyone had any experience with programs that they would recommend? Details on what you liked/didn’t like would be appreciated.

Use Act 6.0 and BE SURE to purchase the PSB Training "Smart Business builder overlay.  www.psbtraining.com It is a database made by advisors for advisors.

I find Salesforce.com to be a decent CRM app.  They even have a personal edition that is free.

Take a look at Investigo.net, offers much more than just a client management tool.

I wasn't aware that salesforce.com has a personal addition that is free, but I will look into that because I used it in a prior industry and depended on it as a great tool.  It is head and shoulders above the generic web based version of ACT that I used prior to Salesforce and I plan to see how it will marry up with our account management software.

On a side note, does anyone use an address grabber that is user friendly for list generation?

It appears that ACT 6.0 is no longer available. ACT by Sage 2007 9.0 is the new software. Ideally we want software for advisors.
