Hi All,

I have been cold calling for a while, so not a toal rookie to calling. however, i can't seem to get up the balls to call Lawyers. Not sure why.

Anyone have any tips/advice?

Any tips on how to actual sell to Lawyers when cold calling would be appreciated too.

Thanks, SND

Hi Smilen’dial,

One simple piece of advice for you is to stop cold calling altogether and work on creating warm call opportunities within your target market.

If you have decided to focus on lawyers as a niche then focus on filling your network with as many attorneys as possible. Get to know what is unique about their business and lifestyles. Craft your message to fit their needs in language that resonates with them.

Lawyers, or any other professional, become much less intimidating when you know that you are bringing value to the table that they will recognize and appreciate.

The first course we released on finservMarketing actually covers target marketing in depth. You might want to check it out.

Feel free to ping me directly if you have any questions or if there are any other topics you want to run by me.

Best,

Mike

there are people cold calling and ONLY cold calling making $50- $100k a month!

so anyone who tells you to look for your near market or some local prospects they are all just hoping to land a sale the easier way.

cold calling is a grind and rewuires grit .

i know someone who ONLY calls attorneys and makes anywhere between 20-30k a month in commissions

the key is to be professional and keep moving, there are thousands of attorneys who on the right day can give you business but the technique is to introduce yourself first, then qualify them, then pitch.

attorneys are tough, they are aggressive, especially the big ones. they are know it alls and to sell them you have to come at them smart, but don't blow them up on a buy or die tactic.

as long as you're not doing anything illegal, you have nothing to fear
