3-step postcard system

Has anyone ever heard of this method of prospecting? Would appreciate any info at all.
If you are going to do mail then postcards would be the best way to do it. I havent tried it yet myself. Some say it works and others swear it is a waste of time. Like everyone else says its all about what works for you. If you figure out what the 3 step method of this is post about it. Should be interesting to read!
