Wow! One can learn a lot about someone by their taste in music.

Mar 5, 2009 10:48 pm

What have you learned.  I'm gonna repeat something I'm sure you've heard before.  Never judge a book by it's cover.

That you and I would not get along well.

Let me just say this.  I like music, I like all music, except for the older country sh*t except for Willie.  The newer stuff isn't so twangy, so I'm listening to more of that.

I hoped you learned something.

As long as Bono only sings and doesn't start politicizing I'm OK with U2.  I've not watched Letterman all week because I didn't think I could handle the gushing over Obama.

"I'll take 20th Century Eclectic Musical Tastes for $1000, Alex."

Looks like an all inclusive post modern iPod set to 'shuffle.'  Rock on.

I read a story once that told of U2 performing a concert in Dublin I believe, and Bono started clapping his hands slowly saying, "A child dies every time I clap my hands!", trying to make his usual dramatic point.  One of the concert-goers yelled, "Then stop clapping, ya focking idiot!"

Gotta love the Irish!

Bono is a tool.

It never fails to amaze that some people who are blessed with God-given talents believe that the public spends a sizeable portion of their income to go to a concert in order to hear their opinions on global warming or the plight of the mirgrant farm worker.

Funny!

I don't go for his political views, I go because I like their music.

Sounds like you just wrote down the entire content of my itunes library.

What I learned is that you and I have similar taste in music and that music taste has very little to do with a person's character or work ethic or general intelligence.

Just my 2 cents.
